What is the best indoor fiberglass pool?

The best fiberglass pool for use indoors is a question that comes up from time to time and is difficult to answer.

1: BUDGET: The first question that should be asked truly is: What is your budget? The reason I say this is that any fiberglass pool will work perfectly in an indoor application. However, with an indoor pool, the price will rise quickly based on the size of the pool. The bigger the pool, the bigger the room required to cover it. The bigger the room the higher the cost. So to cut to the chase it all starts with the budget. The average indoor pool project runs in the $350,000.00 range and will climb quickly based on the size of the fiberglass pool you select.

2: MODEL SELECTION: With an indoor fiberglass pool, space is at a premium and for me, I would want a pool with the most usable area in the pool as possible to optimize cost. So, to optimize pool space avoid the "freeform style" fiberglass pools. For me, the best indoor fiberglass pool overall is the R Series Fiberglass Pool from River Pools. The R Series is a traditional rectangular pool with the most usable space of any fiberglass pool in the River Pools lineup. This pool features a full-width seating bench in the shallow end that can be outfitted with therapy jets and has a wedding cake style step in the corner for easy entry. There is also a deep end seating bench as well. The R Series is the best overall value in fiberglass pools.

SIZE: At Pool Pros, most of our indoor fiberglass pool projects lean to the smaller side of the pool spectrum. Typically in the 24-28' length. This size range gives the average family enough pool space to get wet and splash around all year long and helps keep the cost down for the structure and other related portions of the project. At the end of the day, the size of the pool boils down to the budget.
